1st lady of GOTDRO.COM and GOTDRO Radio, Asia is a multi talented, multi- faceted hustler out of the DMV area. Born in poverty in Manila Philippines, Asia was adopted at 9 months and brought to the states at 2 years of age. Asia started writing poetry at the age of 11 when her foster sister was diagnosed with HIV.
Asia, now in her early 20s, has proven her hustle mentality and has established a name for her and her music. Playing a major role behind the scenes as well as on screen Asia was discovered by close friend and business partner Da D.R.O. CEO of GOTDRO.COM. Da D.R.O. read her poetry and encouraged Asia to turn her poetry into lyrics. Her first recorded song "I Don't give a fuck" was written in under 30 min. and recorded immediately after. Music engineers applaud her accuracy and effeciency when recording while fans appreciate the content of her music and the conviction in her voice.
Just as the title of her first recorded track, Asia posseses a no nonsense attitude and a driven spirit. Asia's music reflects her opinions on social and political issues, personal struggles and experiences. Her can do beliefs have allowed her as a reporter to interview many celebritites and begin her career as a radio personality on GOTDRO Radio. Asia's 'hard hitting" debut mixtape was released in August of 2011 and is receiving positive reviews. Through her music, Asia proves she has the flow, lyrics, and style to make her one of the next hip hop queens; merely brushing the surface of a long lasting career in entertainment.
